Remember to pick your tub mat up between uses so his does not happen. Roll it loose or put it over side of tub with sticky part flipped up . Body wash, dead skin and mould can form a mess.

Always good to clean under your fridge at least 1 time per year. Stuff gets spilled and it gets sticky. This can attract ants in the summer. Vacuum out the vent area for ventilation for your fridge, it will work better.

Another fridge done this month.
It's a great time to purge your expired items, ones with mould, toss the stuff you never use (or if possible give it a new home to friends in need).
Why is it a great time...it's getting cooler and food out for the cleaning duration will not spoil.
Here in St. Thomas we have a green bin program for compost. If garbage day is coming up soon, it will be less smelly.
Pop a box of baking soda in your fridge to assist with odors between cleans.
Getting spills cleaned up quickly will also help to keep odors down.
If thawing meats in the fridge, place them on a plate or cookie sheet inside fridge. This way when they thaw, do not drip blood in the cracks and crevices of your fridge.
It is advisable to start at the top so drips do not get in your clean areas.

Been busy this weekend. Wish I had taken pictures of my own fridge also when I cleaned it.
I cleaned out the filing cabinet and got a bankers box of papers we no longer needed.
I reorganized our pantry and created so much more room.
A client asked me to do their fridge and freezer.
My son and I worked on our shop cause it needed some love. I forgot to take start pictures cause I was in organizing mode. We got out a ton of boxes while organizing and some trash. The boxes were from when we moved and had a shop the shop month.
Bruce Stover and I cut up and stacked the old deck boards in our pole barn...we put it off for a year.
We have been picking up walnuts every other day in our backyard. Oh my gosh...550and we still were not done! But we are thankful for the shade in the summer.
At least my time off has been productive.

When you leave windows open, remember extra moisture can come in that needs to be dealt with. An easy wipe with anti bacterial cleaner and then spray with hydrogen peroxide to keep it from coming back.

If you forgrt to flush at night...please remember to in the morning. The extra bacteria can create mould and build up.

Switch It Up will be closed until 8 September 2026 due to the passing of my dad. I can not focus to do dishes I'm my own home right now let alone take the care needed to clean for my clients. I am sorry for any upset this may cause but I need to do this for me.
