PAYTONS WALK OF WARMTH
It's that time of year again for Paytons Walk of Warmth . Covid restrictions will not stop us this year!
Join us December 18th downtown Saint Catharines to give out “bags of warmth” to those with a little less luck than most.

Who is Payton? Payton is the most kind and selfless little girl. (I’m biased) When she was 6 we moved to St. Catharines (downtown) and on our daily commute to school she would ask so many questions about why people were so sad,sleeping on the ground . She asked if we could make people meals for thanksgiving since we weren't doing anything anyways. So we did , she decorated tin food pans with hearts filled them with hot ham and potatoes and veggies, and put them in a wheeled cooler and our friend helped us hand hot meals out. That is the day my daughter taught me about compassion,and reminded me of the many times I was almost in the same position as some of the people she wanted to help. Since then we have been handing out bags of essentials almost every year

Oh wonderful people, it has now dawned upon me and reality has sunken in, that this buisness, the relationships and trust (on both ends ) that have developed are on it's last two weeks . Yes.. today ...(reality has taking this long to sink in) .....is the day I've come to realize that I will furthermore live with out the notes of kindness and appreciation, puppy kisses and kitten snuggles, from the familes I have been fortunate enough to be able to meet., Help out and be a small part of. 8years ago I never imagined owning this company, and today after 7 years I'm finding it hard to let go of ( albeit it was hard since last March when I was told to shut down) you all will forever more hold a special place in my heart , my daughter's heart and our lives .. it was never about the income (Lord knows it helps ) it was not about the little trinkets left for my daughter.that made her feel so special . It was so much more.

Thank you is not enough to express my gratitude

Good Afternoon. For those who have been inquiring , my "inclass " starts in in June this year, so i will be indefinitely closed as of then. If you are lost as to where to find a new home keeper please let me know ! its been a wonderful almost 7 years . I've learned a lot , felt a lot , and am having difficulties letting go . you've kept a roof over our heads and food on our table, lights in our rooms and heat for those freezing nights. this may sound dramatic , but it is the upmost truth! the once a week, month, that I made I little difference in your life ,made a HUGE difference in our lives. it feels a bit nostalgic, ending this venture with some of the same families I began with.
you have all in someway helped me grow as a person, as a business woman , as a mother and as a human. In a world where we feel we are all alone , you made me feel like somebody. Although following my dreams may have left you with finding a new trusting person, you still encouraged me to do so . You are amazing people, with amazing families !
Families although I may have not seen in a while .... I still remember your children's sheet preferences! I still miss your pets, and I still miss you !

Thank you for all that all of you have contributed to my little company , thank you for making it huge and thank you for your constant reminders that I am a human !

for those who are curious , yes I WILL be starting a HOMECARE business .... just may take a couple years ! ive been researching.... always researching

Okay guys it's been over a year but we are once again making dinners and delivering them around Niagara for our fellow humans who are struggling a bit more than we are , for Christmas time ! (more so end of November ) also trying to put together "winter warmth bags " (hats ,gloves,snacks,hand warmers,sanitizer, masks ) we will be once again be cooking a huge feast and portioning meals out in aluminum pans hot and ready to go to be given out. Volunteers are always welcome. :) It's not the meaning of the holidays ,it's the meaning of humanity :) we are trying to stretch a bit farther than the downtown core in saint catharines
