Grounds Control Property Maintenance
Grounds Control Property Maintenance is growing, and we’re looking for a hardworking, reliable General Labourer to join our team!
We provide professional property maintenance, grass cutting, landscaping, and snow removal services, including snow plowing and sidewalk clearing.
This is an active, outdoor position that changes with the seasons. If you enjoy working outdoors, operating equipment, staying active, and being part of a hardworking team, this could be a great fit.
POSITION: GENERAL LABOURER
Summer & Winter Property Maintenance
🌱 SUMMER RESPONSIBILITIES
* Grass cutting and lawn maintenance
* String trimming and edging
* Property cleanup and general grounds maintenance
* Operating lawn care and landscaping equipment
* Loading, unloading and maintaining equipment
* Working as part of a crew to complete properties to a high standard
* Other general landscaping and property maintenance duties
❄️ WINTER RESPONSIBILITIES
* Snow removal operations
* Plowing roads and parking areas
* Clearing sidewalks
* Shovelling and snow blowing
* Salting and de-icing
* Loading and handling snow removal equipment
* Working during snow events, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays when required
* General winter property maintenance duties
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Valid Ontario G Driver’s Licence — MUST HAVE
* Clean and reliable driving record
* Reliable transportation to and from work
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Dependable and punctual
* Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
* Ability to perform physical labour for extended periods
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to work flexible hours depending on weather and operational requirements
EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in landscaping, lawn maintenance, snow removal, equipment operation or property maintenance is an asset but not required.
We are willing to train the right person.
