I was raised by a man who grew up in a residential school.

The abuse he barely survived and the trauma he carried shaped the rest of his life. It shaped me too.

Generational trauma is real. Addiction, neglect and PTSD do not stay neatly contained in one person’s past. This s**t carries on into the lives of the people who love them and the children they raise.

Today, I’m thinking of the children who never came home, the Survivors who did, and the families still living with what happened. We will take time to listen, learn and make room for healing. That work has to continue after September 30.

If you were raised by a residential school Survivor and need support, please know that support is available for you, too. The Indian Residential Schools Resolution Health Support Program offers cultural and emotional support and mental health counselling to Survivors, their families and intergenerational Survivors, including people who were raised in a Survivor’s household.

It is available to eligible people living in Edmonton and across Canada. sac-isc.gc.ca

Moving season is upon us…
and let’s be honest — what’s hiding under that couch is not what you want to deal with.

Dust bunnies, pet hair, buildup in all those forgotten spaces… it adds up fast when everything starts getting moved around.

The last thing you need during a move is one more thing on your list.
We’ve got you.

At Three Seas Cleaning, we handle it all — from detailed move-out cleans to professional carpet cleaning — so you can leave your space fresh, clean, and truly ready for what’s next.

Top to bottom. No stress. No surprises.

Clean matters differently in healthcare spaces.

People walk into clinics already stressed.

A clean environment creates comfort before a single word is spoken.

From waiting rooms to treatment spaces, details matter.

And consistency matters even more.
