FARM UPDATE [25 JUL 25]: What a glorious sight the lavender has provided this past week! Due to the recent hot weather, the main production field is beginning to fade, ever-so-slightly. But it’s not too late, the lavender still looks FANTASTIC! If you want to see the 2025 bloom at its peak, we encourage you to come to the farm sometime in the next week, as the main production field will begin its late-summer dormant period shortly thereafter.
Meanwhile, our smaller “Discovery Garden” features 15 late-blooming lavender varieties, so we’ll enjoy colour there in that garden for several more weeks.
Additionally, our resilient Pollinator Gardens are loving this summertime weather! These are small gardens where we’ve planted flowers and shrubs which attract and support native insects (like moths, butterflies, bees, caterpillars, and dragonflies). These gardens make an excellent background for photos!

You never know what clients might need help with! I have found myself helping out with a lot of landscaping and gardening this summer.
