Friendly advice. Please invest in some quality winter mats for your vehicle. We have seen time and time again how much damage salt can do to your carpeting.
Also purchase some that are made for your actual vehicle. You can get them from your dealer or from someone like Weathertech: https://www.weathertech.ca/en/
