Being a cleaner will really change the way you think about people.

You realize very quickly that messy homes usually aren’t about “laziness.”

Sometimes people are: 💗 overwhelmed
💗 depressed
💗 exhausted
💗 working nonstop
💗 raising kids
💗 struggling silently

And honestly? Most people are doing the best they can.

A clean home can genuinely lift stress off someone’s shoulders and I never take that lightly 👏

Reminder to cleaners everywhere...
Stop undercharging just because you’re scared people will say no. 🫶

The right clients understand: ✨ your time matters ✨ your body matters ✨ your experience matters ✨ your prices should reflect the work

Cleaning is REAL work. 💯🧼

If someone thinks $500+ for several hours of deep cleaning is “too much”…

Ask them to spend their entire Saturday: 🧼 scrubbing bathrooms 🧼 removing grease 🧼 vacuuming furniture 🧼 mopping floors 🧼 cleaning baseboards 🧼 bending nonstop for hours 🧼 & much more 😬

Most people tap out after ONE room 😭👏 Honestly… I would too some days. 🥵

Cleaning professionally is exhausting work, and the pricing should reflect that. 💯

It’s so important for cleaners to know their worth and stop feeling guilty for charging rates that actually match the labor, skill, and physical toll this job takes. 🫧✨

“$150 to clean a house is expensive.”

Meanwhile that cleaner probably: 🧼 drove there 🧼 supplied everything 🧼 spent hours bent over scrubbing 🧼 breathed in chemicals 🧼 worked through back pain 🧼 cleaned things nobody else wanted to touch & did a fantastic job

People see the price. Cleaners feel the labor. 💯

The guilt cleaners feel when they have to call out sick is honestly awful. 🥺

Most cleaners don’t have someone to cover for them. If we don’t show up… the work simply doesn’t get done. 💔 Money is not earned

So even when our body is exhausted… our back hurts… we’re sick… pregnant… burnt out… or mentally drained… a lot of us still sit there debating: “Can I just push through one more day?” 🙃

Not because we want to. But because we know clients are counting on us. We know schedules are tight. We know people will be disappointed. And we know missing one day can sometimes affect income we genuinely need. 👀

People don’t realize how many cleaners work through pain and sickness simply because they feel responsible for everyone else. ❤️

And when we finally DO call out… instead of resting peacefully, we spend the whole day feeling guilty about it. 🥹
Cleaning is physical work. But the mental pressure behind it is something people rarely see. 🤍
