Meet the team!
Betty Ann Nickel

I grew up on a small farm in Southern Saskatchewan, where I learned the value of hard work from a young age. I grew up in a large family with nine brothers and sisters that taught me the importance of family, perseverance, and looking out for one another.

In the late 70’s I worked in the health-care industry for many years in southern Alberta. In 1999 we eventually moved to central Alberta where I continued my career in health at a home for the elderly where I eventually retired from and moved into sales. I enjoyed working as a Sales Manager for a locally owned clothing and scrub shop, I truly enjoyed my career and the people I had the opportunity to meet along the way.

In 2014 I moved to Red Deer with my husband, where I started working as a cleaner for the next six years. During that time, I contracted to We Clean, where I eventually worked my way into positions as a Team Lead and eventually in Quality Control. I have always taken pride in my work and have been fortunate to have an amazing boss and wonderful people around me.

Outside of work, I enjoy walking, visiting with friends and family, and most of all, spending time with my six grandchildren. I love watching them grow, cheering them on in their sports and activities and being there for all of their life achievements.

I am grateful for the life I have built, the people who have been part of my journey, and the many wonderful experiences that have shaped who I am today.
