✨ August Update – Shimmer & Shine Cleaning ✨

Before I officially close my books for August, I have two appointments available for basic maintenance cleanings only:
🧼 August 3rd BOOKED ✅
🧼 August 14 BOOKED ✅

Other than those two openings, I am fully booked for the month of August! 💙

I will also be taking a short break until August 31 while I get married and enjoy some time with my family. 💍

At this time, I am not accepting any deep cleans, move-in/move-out cleans, or one-time cleanings. I also won’t be taking on any new recurring clients until I return.

When my books reopen, I’ll only be accepting clients in areas I can travel to without driving through St. John’s, including:
🏡 Portugal Cove
🏡 Torbay
🏡 Paradise (St. Thomas Line area)
🏡 Other nearby areas with a similar route.

To better serve our regular clients and keep travel time to a minimum, Shimmer & Shine Cleaning is currently accepting new clients in the following areas only:

At this time, we are not accepting bookings outside of these areas.

💙 A Quick Update About the Clean Slate Project 💙

I just wanted to take a moment to explain how the Clean Slate Project will work.

This project was created to give back to our community by helping individuals and families who are truly in need. Every application will be carefully reviewed, and recipients will be selected based on their circumstances and the resources available.

While I wish I could help everyone, this is a volunteer community initiative. I still operate my cleaning business full-time, have regular clients, bills to pay, and a family to support. Because of that, I simply can’t accommodate every request.

Please know that my regular cleaning service pricing remains the same. The Clean Slate Project is not a discount program—it’s a way to give back to those facing exceptional circumstances.

Holiday Notice ☀️
Shimmer & Shine Cleaning will be closed July 1–5 for a family reunion and will return Monday, July 6.

If your scheduled cleaning falls during this time, it will be skipped for that cycle. If you’d prefer to reschedule, please reach out and I’ll do my best to fit you in on Monday of this week before I leave.
