A couple of networking events, a lot of great conversations, and somehow I came home with a FREE month membership to North End Fitness. 💪✨

Huge thank you to the organizers of the Tri-Township Networking Extravaganza for bringing together so many incredible local businesses, entrepreneurs, and community leaders. It was such a fun evening making new connections, supporting fellow vendors, and learning more about the amazing people behind our local businesses.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I apparently have a month to figure out how much of that gym membership is networking and how much is actual exercise. 😂

The last little while has felt like I’ve been slowly unpacking my life, figuring things out, finding my footing, and learning to embrace the busy, messy, beautiful seasons as they come.

On the business side, we’ve been growing, and I’m so excited to share that we’ve recently onboarded a new team member! She’s already been a wonderful addition, and I can’t wait for you all to meet her when we do her official introduction soon.

As many of you know, small businesses can sometimes face unexpected growing pains — and right now we’re navigating one of those moments.

Over the last few weeks, a few members of the Life is Maid team have moved on to new opportunities and exciting next chapters for themselves. While we’re incredibly happy for them, it has left us a little short-staffed heading into one of our busiest seasons.

We’re doing everything we can behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly, and we’re so grateful for the patience, support, and kindness our clients continue to show us during this transition.

That said, we are actively hiring reliable FULL-TIME cleaners to join our team immediately.

Ladies - Ready to Step Into Golf With Confidence?
Join us for a 3-Week Social Beginner Women’s Golf Program (Indoor Simulators) designed to make golf feel welcoming, fun, and unintimidating — all in a relaxed indoor simulator setting at Dunny's Divots Indoor Golf.

Whether you're brand new or have always wanted to feel more comfortable saying “yes” to a corporate or social golf event, this program is for you.

Over three weeks, you’ll learn:

Golf basics & key terminology
Etiquette for social and business settings
How to hit fundamental shots with a variety of clubs
How to navigate and enjoy a casual round of golf
The confidence to attend golf events without feeling intimidated

This welcoming, social clinic will be led by golf professional Nadine Lamarche PGA of Canada Professional, creating a supportive environment where learning includes plenty of laughs.
Come learn, connect, and feel confident stepping onto the course this season!

Format: 1 90-minute session per week.

Dates: Tuesday April 7, Tuesday April 14 and Tuesday April 21
Thursday April 9, Thursday April 16 and Thursday April 23

Time: 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Audience: Beginner women golfers seeking a fun, supportive, social learning environment

Location: Dunny's Divots Indoor Golf, Port Perry

Cost: $150 (tax incl.) per person (receipts can be issued for business purposes).

Equipment: Bring your own clubs or rentals are available on site.

Nadine Lamarche is a PGA of Canada Professional with 25+ years in the game, passionate about building confidence, community, and fun for women in golf. Nadine grew up playing competitive golf before transitioning to a career in the sports industry. She’s excited to get "Tee'd up" with you and share tips that bring more confidence, fun, and camaraderie to your time on and off the course.

Light snacks will be provided during the session. We will are teaming up with Anyway Fruit - Port Perry and Full Wedge Golf Clothing for this event.
