There will always be someone willing to undercut your price. Let them.

I’d rather be known for showing up when I say I will, communicating with my clients, carrying insurance, using quality products, fixing problems when they happen, and delivering a service people can actually rely on.

Cheap prices might win a booking.

Value, consistency, and trust build a business that lasts.

People see a successful business, but they don’t always see everything that goes on behind the scenes.

What they don’t see are the countless decisions being made every day. The schedules that need rearranging, the problems that need solving, the employees relying on you, the clients counting on you, and the responsibility of making sure everything keeps moving forward. Owning a business means wearing every hat, and no two days are ever the same.

There comes a point in business where you stop trying to prove yourself and let your work speak for itself. 👏

After 9 years of building Clean Freaks, I’ve learned that growth doesn’t happen by luck. It comes from showing up every single day, making hard decisions, adapting, learning from your mistakes, and never giving up when things get tough.

Every challenge has taught me something. Every happy client has reminded me why I started. Every setback has helped shape the business we are today.

I’m incredibly proud of how far Clean Freaks has come, but I’m even more excited for what’s ahead. Nine years later, I’m still learning, still growing, and still hustling like day one. 🙏🏼

One thing I’ve learned after years of cleaning homes is this:

We’re not stepping through your front door to size you up. We’re there to lighten the load you’ve been carrying.

Life gets busy. Kids, work, illness, mental health, aging parents, grief… homes reflect life, and that’s okay. 🤍

Please don’t feel like you need to apologize for the mess or spend hours cleaning before we arrive. That’s what you hired us for. 💁🏼‍♀️

The best part of this job isn’t seeing the before and after photos. It’s knowing someone can take a deep breath, relax, and feel like they have a little bit of their life back.

And to my fellow cleaners, never forget that our work is about more than sparkling counters and freshly vacuumed floors. Sometimes the biggest difference we make is helping someone feel cared for, without a single ounce of judgment.🧼

“If I provide the cleaning supplies, does that make the clean cheaper?”

The answer is no, and here’s why.

Cleaning products are actually one of the smallest expenses in my business.
