Clear the Air This May
Your vents are full of spring, let’s clean them out.

🌿 Spring Allergens Are Inside Your Home, Let’s Clear the Air

May is peak pollen, dust, dander, and mold spore season here on Vancouver Island.

Once the windows open, all those allergens get pulled straight into your ducts, returns, and HRV, where they circulate through your home.

And if you’ve got pets?
Spring shedding means extra fur and dander building up in your vents making allergy symptoms even worse.

💨 May Duct Cleaning Sale — $397
For an average home (up to 12 vents + 2 returns)
Add‑ons:
- Dryer vent cleaning — $50
- HRV cleaning — $149
Add‑ons are only available with duct cleaning and cannot be booked on their own.
**Most homes require an estimate.

🏡 Why This Matters for Homeowners (Including Insurance)
A clean HVAC system isn’t just about comfort, it’s about reducing risk.
In BC, insurers look at the overall condition of your home systems when assessing risk. Poor maintenance can contribute to:
- Fire hazards from clogged dryer vents or heavy debris buildup
- Moisture or mold issues linked to neglected HVAC components
- Potential claim issues if damage is tied to preventable lack of maintenance

Keeping your ducts and dryer vent clean helps keep your home safer, healthier, and better protected.

When a carpet goes from “a bit dirty” to “deeply impacted with soil,” the change isn’t just on the surface, the fibres themselves start holding onto grit, dust, and buildup that regular vacuuming can’t touch.

This video shows exactly what happens when we break through that deep soil and restore the carpet from the inside out. The difference is dramatic, and it’s one of the reasons spring is the perfect time for a true deep clean.

A professional clean doesn’t just make your home look better, it helps your carpets last longer, improves indoor air quality, and resets your space for the season ahead.

If your carpets are due for their spring refresh, we’re ready when you are.

Husky owners, we salute you. When the vacuum canister looks like it’s growing a second dog, it might be time for a real reset.

SaniTECH’s spring cleaning schedule is open, let’s get those carpets breathing again.

Get a husky, they said. It'll be fun, they said. It's not that much hair, they said. Spring shedding season has officially begun!
