🧹🧺 A Friendly but Important Reminder Regarding Cancellations 🧺🧹
I completely understand that life happens! Kids get sick, unexpected situations come up, and sometimes plans need to change. I will always do my best to be understanding and accommodating when possible. ❤️
However, I do want to remind everyone that cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to my 2-hour minimum cleaning charge.
Failure to pay the cancellation fee will result in the cancellation of all future scheduled cleaning appointments.
I genuinely don’t want to reach the point of requiring non-refundable booking deposits to secure appointments, but I do need to protect my time and my business.
Here’s something worth considering:
If you purchase concert tickets and decide at the last minute that you can’t attend, the venue doesn’t typically refund you simply because your plans changed. The same principle applies to many other service-based businesses.
When you book a cleaning appointment, you’re not just booking a service. You’re reserving my time, my availability, and ultimately, my livelihood.
A last-minute cancellation isn’t always an appointment I can simply fill with another client. That means lost income, and unfortunately, my bills don’t get cancelled just because an appointment does.
I absolutely love what I do, and I truly appreciate the wonderful clients who respect my time and the policies that allow me to continue providing my services.
This isn’t about being unreasonable or lacking compassion. It’s about recognizing that my time has value, just as yours does.
