12 years ago today, Woodley Care Services was open for business. Its been quite the ride! From my first ever client in Durham. To taking the Business Enterprise course. To Allenford, to locally, to networking, interviewing in coffee shops. To now having office space. From being by myself, to now currently employing over 50 staff, having solid management and now we have our Temp Agency License. WCS has come along way. Many thanks to those past & present, and to those who supported me.

Woodley Care Services is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Respite Workers to join our growing team!

This role involves supporting high-needs individuals with varying levels of special needs in home and community settings. If you’re patient, reliable, and passionate about making a meaningful difference, we’d love to hear from you!

Ideal backgrounds include:
✔️ Developmental Support Workers (DSW)
✔️ Personal Support Workers (PSW)
✔️ Educational Assistants (EA)
✔️ Early Childhood Educators (ECE)
or other relevant certifications & experience!

What we’re looking for:
• Experience supporting individuals with complex or high-needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A calm, compassionate, and professional approach
• Ability to follow care plans, safety protocols, and documentation requirements
