Thank you to everyone who has been there to support us, customers that we had to reschedule and family and friends who have reached out to us as I'm certain almost everyone understands that these things are never easy to deal with. Last night Candie's father passed away after his battle with cancer at his home with his daughters, wife and myself by his side and he is now at peace.
We are still down in Toronto but we will be back at the shop this Tuesday, June 2nd.
I wrote a little poem/ tribute to my father in law who has been a part of my life for almost 20 years now. Wow, how time flies...you will be missed dearly.
To my loving father in law Jose,
Sometimes putting feelings into words can be hard to say,
You were a hard working, caring family man and loved by everyone,
We will remember your sense of humor and all the times spent with you over the years that were filled with fun
Coming to Canada years ago to start a new life,
Your dedication and memories will be cherished forever with your family- especially with your wife
You've always treated me like a son over the last almost 2 decades,
I've always appreciated everything you did for me and now in the late hours it's time to close the shades
It was hard to see you in the end living in so much pain,
As your family, we made sure to try our best to comfort you until we meet again
Although your bright light like a candle was put out and gone,
Your eternal flame will always continue to burn and live forever on
