We are specialists in Fire and Flood Restoration for all of your homes fabric contents.

Twice in the past month we have been contracted privately to handle such jobs by individuals without Tenant/Rental insurance.

Of course we can handle these jobs.

We also accept jobs covered by Tenants and Homeowners who do have insurance.

When you are insured you can choose who will do this work for you.

In that case, the insured clients NEVER have to pay for our services out of their own pockets.

As an Ottawa based, family owned business since 1957, we are dedicated to providing the best service possible to our clients.

A customer brought us her Fathers' WW2 RCAF Tunic to try and restore.
It had apparently sat for many years in a damp basement.
While there are many stains and lots of seams undone, we have WASHED it in our professional wet cleaning system to remove as much soiling as possible. Now it is on our tensioning steam/hot air dryer to get the wrinkles out and dry it.
Then off to a specialized tailor to renew all the seams.
Lastly, to re-clean and try to improve the overall appearance.
Most importantly, Thank You to this un-named Airman for his service to our country and the liberation of Europe in their time of need.
I do know that this gentleman did survive his many missions and returned to Canada to live out a long and fruitful life..

Today I re-potted this plant (a Money Tree! If any cash grows you will be the first to know!).

The soil is a 50/50 mixture of Miracle Grow potting soil and used GreenEarth filter powder from our dry cleaning machine still.

It is rich and dark.

Let's see what happens.

I will try and do a weekly update to see how the plant is doing and if any cash blooms!

All of our locations accept donations of new or gently used snowsuits, winter clothes and footwear. Thank you Ottawa for your generosity and helping those in need!

Our store at 571 Bronson Avenue has regular business hours as follows:

Monday to Friday open from 8 am until 5 pm.

Saturday open from 9 am until 4 pm.

Closed Sundays and all statutory holidays.

For all other locations please check their individual addresses online or call them directly.

Donate gently used snowsuits

We are not accepting used snowsuits at the Depot this season but we still appreciate all your donations made through our proud partners including Browns Cleaners:

You can drop your snowsuits at any Browns Cleaners location and they’ll be laundered, sanitized, bagged and delivered to The Snowsuit Fund for distribution to qualified low-income clients and their family members.

School and community groups collecting on behalf of The Snowsuit Fund can deliver their bounty directly to Browns MAIN PLANT (Bronson Ave.) Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 am – 1 pm.

Nous n'acceptons pas d'habits de neige usagés au Dépôt cette saison, mais nous apprécions tout de même tous vos dons faits par l'intermédiaire de nos fiers partenaires :

Vous pouvez déposer vos habits de neige dans n'importe quel magasin Browns Cleaners et ils seront lavés, désinfectés, emballés et livrés à nous pour distribution aux clients à faible revenu qualifiés et aux membres de leur famille.

Les groupes scolaires et communautaires qui collectent au nom du Fonds Habineige peuvent remettre leur prime directement à l'USINE PRINCIPALE de Browns (avenue Bronson) les lundi, mercredi et vendredi de 8 h à 13 h.
