We Built Hard Rock Ottawa: Jani-King Contributes to Construction and Grand Opening of Hard Rock Casino and Hotel
Ottawa’s entertainment scene got a huge upgrade this year, with the grand opening of the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in Ottawa South.
The new facility, located alongside the Rideau Carleton Raceway, features a Hard Rock Casino gaming floor with slots and table games, Hard Rock Café, Council Oak steakhouse, Hard Rock Hotel, and Hard Rock Live, a new, premier live music venue.
Working closely with EllisDon, the construction manager for the project, Jani-King assisted with post-construction and final cleaning of the casino and hotel, removing bulk garbage and dust, cleaning windows, deep cleaning washrooms, high dusting on scissor lifts, kitchen cleaning, and everything else needed to turn over the facility to the owners.
When Hard Rock’s crew arrived, Jani-King assisted further with higher level detail cleaning, washroom patrol, polishing of equipment, preparing hotel rooms for occupancy, carpet cleaning, event cleaning for opening events in the casino and Hard Rock Live, floor buffing and burnishing, and putting the final polish on the facility for its grand opening.
Our crews worked exceptionally hard, day and night, in tandem with trades, construction, and the owners to deliver and amazing product and experience for the opening of HRC Ottawa. We were thrilled to be part of the process, and extremely proud to have helped build Hard Rock Ottawa!
