Hello everyone,
As we enter the holiday season, we are excited to share that Little Miss Clean will be hosting our third annual fundraiser. Each year, we come together as a community to support a local family, and this year we have chosen a very special one.
We will be supporting a single mother, Shannon, and her two boys (ages 8 and 10), as well as Shannonâs parents, Lisa and Brad. This December marks three years since they tragically lost their daughter, Shannon's sister, and the holidays continue to be an incredibly difficult time for them. We are honoured to be able to offer support, comfort, and a little extra joy to this deserving family.
We also want to extend our apologies for the late start this year. Despite the delay, we are dedicated to making this fundraiser as meaningful as ever. We will be accepting donations until December 20th, with all shopping completed on December 21st and 22nd, and we will be delivering everything to the family on December 23rd so they are fully prepared for Christmas Day.
If you are interested in participating, I would be happy to send you a list of items we are hoping to collect for the family. We will also be accepting cash donations, which will go directly toward Christmas gifts and a full Christmas Day dinner for them. Little Miss Clean will be gifting a free clean to Shannon and to her parents for their two homes, and we will be matching all monetary donations with an additional 50¢ on the dollar.
We are deeply grateful for any supportâbig or smallâthat you feel called to contribute. Your generosity over the past fundraisers has truly made a difference, and we are thankful to be surrounded by such a caring community.
