For those of you who are new to my story, my name is Ryan Massiah. I was born in Barbados but Nova Scotia is my home now, and has been for the past 20 years! When I came to Nova Scotia I navigated this new country/culture alone while keeping my first home, and the homegrown hospitality I was raised with in Barbados, at heart. While this wasn’t always easy, the community here has embraced me and the culture I bring with me, and I believe they're ready to embrace you too.

Through the new My Home Now Festival, our mission is to celebrate the knowledge and cultural exchange that happens with immigration. This is a festival to meet new people from the community while sharing experiences and - most importantly - trying some delicious food from different countries and cultures.

-Mechanical Floor experience is a plus but not necessary.

Your tasks will include:

Sweeping

Mopping

Polishing

Dusting

Vacuuming (flooring and draperies)

Windows

Disinfecting

You will need to be a self starter who is ready to work with your own transportation.
