I think the average person who is hiring a cleaning service doesn’t know or realize how much work goes into the business behind the scenes.

Obviously, there’s the usual BUSINESS requirements: invoicing, scheduling, communicating with clients, and writing service contracts. However, a cleaning business needs to wash and sterilize: towels, scrub brushes, crevice brushes, sponges, and vacuum accessories. I personally take apart the vacuum to clean and rotate HEPA filters; as well as cleaning the vacuum(s) on the outside and other equipment. We work to minimize cross-contamination between homes or businesses.

Oh yeah! And the laundry! Sooooo much laundry!
