I’ve been a little quiet this week—I was away in the city getting my wisdom teeth removed 😅 but I’m finally starting to feel better today!

The store will be open tomorrow from 12-4 as usual 🛍️✨

And to all my cleaning clients, I’ll be getting back to messages Monday morning!

Things People Forget to Clean – Day 3 ✨

The stove fan 😅

This one humbled me a little lol. I got a LOT of the grease off, but definitely not all of it 👀 I’m going to need to find a tougher grease fighter and tackle it again!

BUT… the filter came out shiny clean ✨🧼

Grease buildup on these gets crazy fast and most people don’t even realize how dirty they are until they start scrubbing 🤢

Between leaks, crumbs, and spills, it builds up FAST.

Not the most fun job… but definitely one of the most satisfying to see clean 🤢➡️✨

Real talk — yesterday humbled me and taught me a lot. 💛

This is the reality behind some cleaning jobs. What may look like a “quick clean” can actually be hours of scrubbing walls, buildup, marks, and heavy-duty work. Every wall in this home was like this from top to bottom.

My biggest lessons from yesterday:

✨ Estimates are just estimates until the condition of the home is seen in person. Some jobs require far more time and labor than expected.

✨ As a small business owner, I have to stand firm on my pricing. My time, energy, supplies, and hard work are valuable.

✨ Some cleans are hard on the mom heart and mind. Walking into conditions like this and knowing children were living in it can be emotionally heavy.

Owning a business comes with lessons, and this one definitely gave me a few. I’m learning, growing, and improving with every job.

Thank you to everyone who supports honest, hardworking local businesses. 🤍
