Starting fresh doesn’t mean doing it all at once—small changes make a big difference. Here are my go-to tips to help you reset your space and your mindset:
🧹 1. Declutter Before You Clean
You can’t clean clutter. Toss, donate, or relocate anything you don’t use or love. Less stuff = less mess.
📦 2. Give Everything a “Home”
If an item doesn’t have a designated spot, it will always end up on the counter. Bins, baskets, and labels are your best friends.
⏱️ 3. Set a 15-Minute Reset
Short daily resets prevent overwhelming messes. Set a timer, focus on one room, stop when the timer ends.
🧼 4. Clean Top to Bottom
Always dust high surfaces first and finish with floors—this saves time and avoids re-cleaning.
🗂️ 5. One Space at a Time
Don’t bounce between rooms. Finish one drawer, one counter, or one room before moving on.
🌿 6. Create Simple Routines
Daily: dishes & quick tidy
Weekly: bathrooms & floors
Monthly: deep clean one area
Consistency beats perfection.
