Lubnow Restoration DKI was founded by Harry Lubnow in the early 80’s. Harry was working for a small renovation contractor in the London area when a small tornado touched down causing a considerable amount of destruction in a very short period of time. The company Harry was working for was engaged to assist many of the displaced people from this natural disaster. He worked long hours bringing normalcy back to many people as quickly as he could. It was at this time he realized how much satisfaction he was experiencing by helping people often at the lowest point in their lives. He continued to work for the contractor for a few more years until he realized he wanted to leave an impact on the lives and homes he was working in. It wasn’t long after he was working for a couple of local, London insurance companies he realized he found his niche. Harry’s humble beginnings in home renovation grew to a full service restoration company offering complete emergency, content cleaning and restoration services. Core values based on quality workmanship and happy customers sustained its growth. He firmly believes he leaves his name on every project and expects to be proud of the product he delivers. He has worked hard to instil those values on each and every employee in his company. His genuine caring attitude toward his customer and his employees gives this company its strength and integrity. From the first time you meet Harry, you will quickly understand why everyone at Lubnow Restoration DKI (now supporting 20+ full time certified employees) easily and willingly gives 110% each and every day. In 2010, after much discussion and many meetings, it was decided Harry Lubnow Construction Inc. A re-brand to Lubnow Restoration DKI more accurately reflected what we did as well as pay tribute to a change in leadership. New in title, although not in the role, Steve Lubnow became the leader of Lubnow Restoration DKI. Much like his father, Steve believes in all the same core values that have always made the company stand apart from the rest. Strongly committed to being a leader in technology, Steve strives to be one step ahead of the industry in the latest trends. Employee knowledge and confidence in their work is supported through education. He has learned about each position in the company through his very own experience in it. He supports a strong team however he can. Quality workmanship now has two names stamped on any project. Lubnow Restoration DKI will continue to grow and strengthen under Steve’s leadership following the tradition already established by his father as one of the leading insurance restoration companies in southwestern Ontario.
