Congratulations Jerry!

We’re proud to kick off our June series celebrating the winners of the JAN-PRO Canada's Certified Business Owner of the Year award by recognizing Jerry from our JAN-PRO Vancouver office.

Jerry began his JAN-PRO franchise journey in 2019 while working full-time as a Logistics Coordinator and cleaning part-time to support his family. As a new immigrant, he was looking for a way to build a better life, create more balance, and provide stability for the people he loves. What started as a side business quickly grew into something much bigger.

His leadership showed early. During the uncertainty of the pandemic, Jerry stepped forward for one of JAN-PRO Vancouver’s first EnviroShield certification opportunities, helping support an important customer when reassurance, professionalism, and trust mattered most. That willingness to learn quickly and step up for the brand has continued to define his journey.

What makes Jerry’s story so powerful is the way his own words are reflected in the people around him. He talks about treating employees like family, and his actions prove it. When a major account was lost due to circumstances beyond his control, Jerry still made sure his staff was supported. He helped them through the transition, found new opportunities, and continued to lead with compassion and responsibility.

His local office describes him as a “humble warrior” and a problem solver. Customers see the same thing. When challenges arise, Jerry stays calm, professional, and focused on doing the right thing. In one case, a customer left for a competitor, only to return after realizing the quality and care Jerry’s team had been providing. That trust was earned through years of consistency, integrity, and attention to detail.

Jerry has also become a leader within the JAN-PRO Vancouver community. He invests in specialized training, including carpet cleaning, hard floor care, water damage restoration, pool operations, and more. He shares that knowledge freely, mentoring newer CBOs, supporting first-account trainings, and helping others grow with confidence.
