SUMMARY
- Probation period for 3 full calendar months, turning permanent for the right candidate. Looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working individual to join Huron Shores Cleaning working in a commercial environment.
To maintain the cleanliness of all designated buildings as directed using appropriate equipment and materials supplied, ensuring all buildings are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (CANDIDATE WILL HAVE TO TAKE ON LAST-MINUTE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITY OUT OF REGULAR DUTIES WHEN ASKED TO DO SO)
1. CLEANING, SANITIZING, WASHING, SWEEPING, VACUUM CLEANING, EMPTYING OF ALL LITTER BINS, POLISHING, AND DUSTING ALL DESIGNATED AREAS
2. CLEANING OF GLASS WINDOWS AND DOOR FRAMING
3. CLEANING MARKS ETC. OFF WALLS
4. CLEANING OF ALL PUBLIC SERVICE AREAS SUCH AS; TOILETS, FIXTURES, SHOWER AREAS, CHANGE ROOMS, GYMS ETC.
5. REPLENISHING HAND TOWELS, TOILET ROLLS, SOAPS ETC. REPLACING MOP HEADS. CHANGING VACUUM BAGS
6. USING PROPER POWER EQUIPMENT WHEN APPROPRIATE
7. COVERING FOR OTHER CLEANERS IN THE EVENT OF ABSENCE AND HOLIDAYS - AT SHORT NOTICE MAY BE REQUIRED
8. ANY OTHER TASK AS DIRECTED BY GENERAL MANAGER
9. RELIABLE VEHICLE, POSSESS G2-G LICENSE
10. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK A SET PATTERN AND FLEXIBLE WHEN INSTANCE IS REQUIRED
11. WILLING TO DRIVE UP TO 1.5 HOUR (COMPENSATION TO BE DISCUSSED OVER INTERVIEW)
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS (PREFERRED)
1. PREVIOUS CLEANING EXPERIENCE
2. EYE FOR DETAIL, TAKES PRIDE IN THEIR WORK
3. RELIABILITY AND ABILITY TO WORK WITHOUT DIRECT SUPERVISION
4. LOOKING FOR COMMITMENT WHO DISPLAYS PROFESSIONAL OUTLOOK TO THE WORK
5. USE OF INDUSTRIAL MACHINERY
6. HONEST, HARD WORKING, ABLE TO COMMUNICATE WELL WITH OTHER TEAM PLAYERS
WORKING CONDITIONS
CANDIDATE WILL FLOAT BETWEEN 10 BUILDINGS ENSURING PROPER CLEANING AND SANITIZATION IS BEING COMPLETED ALONG WITH MONTHLY BUILDING CHECKS
