🧺 It’s been a quiet morning at Liverpool Laundry Co.

If you’ve been putting off that mountain of laundry, today might be the perfect day to tackle it. 👕🧦

It’s been a slow day at the laundromat, which means:
✅ Plenty of washers available
✅ Plenty of dryers available
✅ No waiting around for machines
✅ In and out with your laundry done

Whether it’s a week’s worth of clothes, bedding, towels, or that laundry basket you’ve been pretending not to see 😄, now is a great time to get caught up before the weekend.

🧺 THANK YOU, LIVERPOOL LAUNDRY CO. CUSTOMERS 🧺

First off, thank you for your patience and understanding while I was away.

As many of you know, the laundromat was left in the capable hands of our 5-year-old, Sydney, and her dad, Nick.

Unfortunately, Sydney came down with a stomach bug this weekend and was unable to fulfill her cleaning duties. In fact, poor Nick spent more time cleaning Sydney’s pants 💩 🥴 than he did cleaning the laundromat. 🤦🏼‍♀️

This left Nick to run the entire operation on his own.

As a result:
💰 The change machine wasn’t replenished on time
🧻 The toilet paper supply may have temporarily disappeared.
🧺 A few other things may have slipped through the cracks.

To be fair, when your assistant calls in sick and spends the weekend pooping her pants, it’s tough to stay on top of everything. 😂

The good news is that Syd is on the mend, the change machine is fully stocked, the toilet paper has been replenished, and order has once again been restored.

I’ll be in this evening giving the laundromat a well deserved deep clean and getting everything back to our usual standards.

Thank you all for supporting our little family-run business. We genuinely appreciate every one of you and your understanding when life throws us the occasional curveball (or stomach bug).

The weekend cleaning crew (Nick & Syd) made a discovery during their rounds tonight…

A blanket was found abandoned inside Ruth 😳

Ruth has become emotionally attached and will keep the blanket until its owner returns.

If it belongs to you, stop by Liverpool Laundry Co. tomorrow between 8am to 8pm to pick it up, Ruth will keep it safe for the time being.

🚨 📣 MANAGEMENT ANNOUNCEMENT 🧺

As many of you know, Liverpool Laundry Co. is a small family-owned and operated business. We don't have a team of staff to rely on, so when one of us gets called away, the extra workload falls on the rest of the family.

That being said, I'll be away this weekend, which means Liverpool Laundry Co. will be under the supervision of Nick and Sydney. 🧺✨

This is very much a good news / bad news situation.

✅ The good news: I’ll still be answering calls and If you have any questions, concerns, or laundromat emergencies, Nick will be around and can take care of them.

⚠️ The bad news: The cleaning crew this weekend consists of Nick and Sydney. Syd is 5 years old 🤦🏼‍♀️

While Nick is assuring me everything will be perfectly fine, I'm not entirely convinced. 😬

In fact, Sydney's cleaning skills currently rank slightly above Nick's, which is both impressive and a little concerning at the same time.

At this point, all we can really do is hope, pray 🙏

If you stop by this weekend and everything is spotless, be sure to thank Sydney. ✨

If you happen to find a dust bunny hiding in the corner... well, I think we all know who was supposed to be supervising. 😂

Please wish them luck, folks. They're going to need it.

🥶 It’s a slow and chilly morning out there… which honestly makes it the perfect day to get caught up on that laundry before the weekend arrives. 🧺

The laundromat is nice and quiet right now with lots of machines available, so you can get in, get caught up, and spend your weekend doing literally anything other than laundry. 😄

Things have slowed right back down at the laundromat and at the moment ALL washers are available except for TWO! 👏

🧺 Well… yesterday the laundromat was so quiet we were starting to wonder if everyone had suddenly discovered magic self-cleaning clothes. 😂

Fast forward to this morning, and apparently everyone decided at the exact same moment that laundry could no longer wait. 🤦🏼‍♀️🧦👖

It’s been BUSY, but don’t worry, I’ll be hanging around the laundromat helping keep things moving along and making sure nobody leaves their clothes sitting in the washers for half the day. 😄

Things usually slow back down throughout the afternoon and evening if you’re hoping to avoid the rush. I’ll continue posting updates, or you can always call or send us a message through Facebook to check how many washers and dryers are available before heading over!
