I always find clients like to clean before the cleaners come. This sounds silly but honestly it helps alot if you dont want time being wasted on tidying. Especially if your kids toys are all over the place. When I get my place cleaned I always tidy up because my main areas I like are the things I dont get to like dusting, bathrooms and sanitizing those well known areas where germs are.

Just a tip... put wax paper on top of your upper cupboards in your kitchen. Helps eliminate the grease buildup that sometimes I have seen because of cooking.

Just a tip...use baskets for cluttered messes. This helps eliminating time spent on dusting.
It takes time to pick up every perfume bottle!
