Lead Detailer: Marine & Automotive Specialist
We are seeking a high-level Lead Detailer for a premium shop. This role requires a veteran who masters both marine and automotive surfaces. We need a professional who understands that health and family come first, with a flexible schedule that respects your time off when the swell is right.
Key Responsibilities
Paint Correction & Coatings: Expert multi-stage machine polishing and professional-grade ceramic coating application on paint and gelcoat.
Interior Restoration: Deep cleaning using industrial steamers and extractors for high-end upholstery and carpets.
Marine Maintenance: Full exterior oxidation removal and the application of bottom paint (anti-fouling).
Surface Repair: Gelcoat repair skills are a major plus.
Custom Installations: Proficiency in wiring marine audio systems and performing minor custom modifications.
Requirements
Licensing: Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract.
Proven Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in professional detailing or marine maintenance.
Technical Skill: Mastery of rotary/DA polishers and chemical safety.
Compensation & Benefits
Rate: $30.00 – $35.00+ per hour based on verified expertise.
