As month comes to a close, we want to check in and see how you are all doing 💜
Why would a cleaning company be checking in on your mental health?
Well, for one, we care. Your wellbeing is important to us (it’s one of the reasons we only use all natural cleaning products in your home).
Secondly, we know the impact that a clean and tidy home can have on mental health - and that it’s not always easy to achieve that on your own.
Mess happens! Real people’s houses don’t look like they do in a magazine or on TV 🤷♀️
Make sure to treat yourself with kindness when it comes to keeping a clean house.
We love leaving a home we’ve just cleaned knowing that you don’t have to worry about it for a while, and that you’ll be greeted by a calm, clean space.
And when you’re in need of some cleaning inspo, look back at these 5 ways that cleaning can have positive impacts on your mental health:
1. Routine: when things are put away where they belong, you won’t waste time or get stressed trying to find what you need, making your daily routine easier.
2. Relaxation: cleaning can help provide peace of mind by providing an aesthetically pleasing environment to start and end your day in, which helps give a sense of calm.
3. Motivation and focus: unfinished tasks that need to be done like putting away laundry, cleaning dishes in the sink, etc. can create a major distraction from what you’re trying to focus on, whether that’s hobbies, work, or spending time with your family. A clean and tidy space is much less distracting, helping us focus more and be in the moment.
4. Sense of accomplishment: cleaning produces a tangible result that can help us feel accomplished and satisfied. It also allows us to take control of our environment and affect change in a positive way.
5. Physical activity: while it might not be a workout at the gym, cleaning gets us physically moving, and often even working up a sweat.
