After 22 years of serving the Kamloops community, as owner of Dry in Kamloops Carpet Cleaning, I am announcing my retirement. I will continue cleaning for commercial properties but no longer be cleaning for residential clients.

Residential cleaning will continue till March 31st and commercial cleaning will continue as regular. If you are thinking of having work done I encourage you to book soon as the end of March is filling up.

It's been a privilege to serve the people of Kamloops for the past 22 years. I've met so many amazing people and helped them keep their homes clean and healthy. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have made a difference in my community.

I'm looking forward to this new chapter in my life, but I'll always cherish the memories of my time at Dry in Kamloops. I want to thank my customers and family for their support over the years.

If anyone is wondering if it is Fall yet, the colours of the leaves do not lie. I encourage everyone with a little time on their hands to go for a drive north of Kamloops and enjoy the changing of the seasons.

With Father's day coming up I dedicate this photo of my recently deceased dad. He was a small business owner right to the end, instilling in his children that hard work was not a bad thing.

This weekend I was able to attend a wedding of someone famous and a friend/family. It inspired me to share their story with you and link them to my site. Nadine Sands https://www.facebook.com/ALSWithCourage/.
Nadine writes (in the book as well as blog) about her journey with her late husband through ALS.
This weekend seeing her with her new husband strengthened my faith in the idea that all things become new and there is hope even in the darkest times.

With Easter a week away now is a great time for renewal. There is no better time to take advantage of renewing friendships, clearing our mind/body/soul of the unnecessary and embracing life.
I encourage everyone to attend their place of worship, wherever that may be, and rediscover the power of new life.

So being in the business for 15 years or so I get asked allot of questions. The most common is, "Ken, how do you stay so young looking?" Well that is my lttle secret.
But another common question is what type of vacuum should I buy?
I am a big fan of the social site Reddit and often they will have professionals being asked questions about their trade. Recently a vacuum repairman did an AMA (ask me anything) an here is the link to the sight.

I would like to thank everyone for allowing me to serve you this year. It's been a great year and I have enjoyed visiting with long time clients and meeting new ones.
