WHAT IS YOUR WHY?!! 🤔

Have you ever asked yourself why is it you want to succeed so bad?

As someone who grew up in a foster home, I never had the luxury of being able to get the things I wanted as a child. The “cool” clothes, or “cool” toys, or just being able to go out and do fun things like everyone else.

The moment I found out I was pregnant with my first child; I knew I wanted to give her a life I never had. Not long after she was born I got pregnant with my second baby. The life I envisioned for our family, was a life I knew I had to work hard for if I wanted to give my children the life they deserved.

As a single mom I’m sure a lot of single mothers could relate that struggling financially is one of the hardest things to deal with and juggle, while trying to be the best mom you can be for your kids. I was always working for someone else, not profiting in a way that was more than just scraping by. I became tired of it and knew there was a bigger calling out there for me.

I knew something had to change and it started with my career. Starting my own female empowered cleaning business was something that naturally fell into my lap, only after it had been staring me in the face for years! Looking back I have no idea why I didn’t think of embarking on this journey before.

However, Im here now, thriving and loving it. Getting to help make people’s days better by providing them with a clean space, and working a therapeutic career that allows me to accommodate my clients schedules and mine, is the best lifestyle I’ve had in a long time.

Not only do I get to be a hard working active role model for my kids, but one day I know when they’re older, they’ll look back and realize they should take leaps in their life too if they want something bad enough.

My cleaning business is so much more to me than just a “business”…

It’s my 👇🏻

THE HATERS DON’T WANT TO SEE ME SUCCEED, BUT HERE I AM👇🏻

Have you ever had people in your circle and you know they secretly dont support your visions or dreams?

I’ve been cleaning for 3 years now, and I spent the last 2 1/2 years feeling ashamed for the fact that cleaning was my job.

Nowadays there seems to be this stigma that if you don’t have a degree or or career with benefits or pension, than you’re somewhat looked down upon in society.

The thing is I’ve come to learn over the past 6 months, that my mindset has been holding myself back from the opportunity of growing in my cleaning passion.

Here I am 6 months later with a completely new mindset about my job being a cleaner. I came to realize that I shouldn’t feel ashamed about being a cleaner for a living.

I stepped back and I saw a new way to look at things. I began to see that I could look at cleaning as a blessing and be proud of what I do everyday, versus seeing it as something to be embarrassed about.

I realized that having this new mindset around cleaning, began to provide me with new opportunities for growth, such as starting my own cleaning business, also provides me with my own flexibility to create my own schedule. Subsequently I get to see my kids more than I would working 8-5 job.

Rather than being ashamed of my profession, I chose to begin embracing and being proud of it.

So here I am telling you that if you have people in your circle implying to you through body language or conversation, that your dreams or visions are too hard to achieve, these are not your people.

Embracing my job as a cleaner has now lead me into the best phase of my life, and I’m only proud of how far my mindset has grown and how much I have accomplished over the past 6 months, mentally and physically.

Heyyyy 👋🏻 Take a second to get to know me and the face behind this page. My name is Shy and I am the CEO of Boss Babe Cleaning LTD! 🫧

I am a mother of two beautiful children, they’re my pride and joy. I’ve always been the type of person to work hard to make my dreams and aspirations come true. I believe dreams come true by taking action, rather than depending on good luck.

I am a highly motivated Boss Babe and have always had the characteristics of perseverance and determination. I was raised to excel in everything I do!

I have a huge passion for the gym! I really wanted Boss Babe Cleaning LTD to represent the empowered, strong, confident woman I’ve worked hard to become. Someone running the show by herself and still making time for myself and my children.

I love to hike and run! Being physically fit is a big part of my life. Not only for my mental and physical health, but to show my kids that fitness and working hard, is a lifestyle and not a chore.

I love horse back riding, camping, really anything to do with outdoors. Taking my kids to the park or the trampoline park, are two places I love going with them, as I’ve found I tend to feel myself being a kid again. Being able to experience such moments with them is also a huge part of who I am.

Cleaning has always been a safe space for me. I’ve always felt having a clean and organized home, helps my life in so many good ways.

Being able to come home from a long day of work to a clean and tidy home, takes so much stress off my plate. At home I also enjoy letting my kids help me clean, to make it a fun experience and show them even doing a little bit of cleaning a day, can go a long ways in the end.

In creating Boss Babe Cleaning LTD, I wanted to do something I love doing, and help people’s stress levels decrease by coming home to a clean home.

I know how great I feel when I come home to a clean and organized space, and to me it only makes sense to make an effort to ensure other people get to experience this feeling too.

The most strategic way to tackle a Large House Deep Clean🫧

Have you ever been in a position where your expected to move out of a residence and you’re feeling overwhelmed, and not know where to start your cleaning process?😩

🧽Time is of the essence! Typically, I will start my move out clean in the kitchen. The kitchen is known to be the place that tends to take the most time because you’re cleaning large spaces, such as the Fridge, Cupboards, and Stove. Compared to other spaces in a residence, this location usually takes the most time because effort must be put forth in areas where scrubbing is a factor.

🧻Next, I tackle the bathrooms. Subsequently like the kitchen, bathrooms are also a top priority to focus on as a professional cleaner because they too will take a good chunk of time, when considering that you’ll be scrubbing the Shower/Tub, Sink, and Toilet. The bathroom is also a space that is typically going to stand out with any type of scum or previous build up. Additionally, making the bathroom a top priority, will come back in tenfold for your client, as everyone loves and appreciated a bathroom that is actually properly cleaned.

🧹Thereafter I usually will tend to the walls and baseboards of a home, where here again the eye can easily see a dirty wall, and I think we can all agree that nobody likes dirty baseboards. In saying that I make baseboards my bitch.😂

🪟Next, I will clean the windowsills and floors. When I clean these areas, I focus on really getting in the corners, cleaning out that dirt and grime, and making sure your floors sparkle before I exit that home.

Additionally, a good cleaner always checks over his/her work, so at this point I will do one more full swoop of the residence, to ensure that everything is cleaned to the Boss Babe Cleaning LTD standard!🌸

We are a small local business based out of Kamloops BC and surrounding areas.
