This headstone was lovingly tended by family over the years, but even the most devoted care can’t always stop the slow work of time and nature. Moss and lichen had quietly built up, softening the inscription and obscuring the details of this beautiful marker.

Unfortunately, some rust stains remain, caused by metal flower brackets. These can leave permanent marks, so I always recommend using non-metal materials when leaving tributes. A small change like this can make a world of difference in preserving these monuments.
