Hello everyone, first off I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween! My kids had a blast and Halloween is my wife's and I favourite day of the year.

And the nice follow up from Halloween means that King Coin Laundromat is now 3 years old! I can't believe it has already been 3 years since I opened the doors for the first time. I look back at all that has been accomplished since we have opened, from winning awards for best laundromat in Hamilton all 3 years we have been open, to giving back to the community with the help of Free Laundry Access for almost 2.5 years now, it really has been an incredible journey so far and it has been great meeting so many of you over the years as well.

We look forward to continuing to serve the community and giving back as well. Thank you all for being apart of this and to many more years to come!

Hello everyone, I just wanted to take a second and talk about the upcoming elections. As most of you may know, I am running for Ward 3 Councillor. My main goal is to make the streets safer and work on getting affordable/social housing here in Hamilton, but I am also the only candidate that is actively trying to improve the lives of the same people who are on this program. If you are on ODSP, Ontario Works, low income or homeless, I am fighting to get more programs available as well as more streamlined to get signed up for them. Also if I am elected I will be personally donating $10000 a year ($2500 per quarter) to a charity, program or event that the community of Ward 3 votes on, and I will be doing this EVERY YEAR I am councillor. No other candidate is doing these things, and that is what sets me apart from the rest.

If you like what I am doing, there is one more early voting weekend this Saturday and Sunday between 10am - 6pm at Bernie Morelli Recreation Centre at 876 Cannon Street East, or if you can vote on election day Monday October 26 from 10am - 8pm at most polling locations. Time really does fly by and it's still hard for me to believe we are already done with half of 2026! The weather has been fantastic overall other as well other than some heavy rainfalls a few times, so we can't ask for much more than that can we?

Hello King Coin Laundromat community. We have the need of your help for a customer who had clothing taken on Friday June 19th at approximately 8:50pm. A customer was doing a lot of laundry and using the majority of the washers and dryers, and it appears from the video footage she accidently took laundry from another customer. The customer who lost the laundry saw the person as they were loading up their clothes in a cab and just missed her to make the connection that this situation happened.

It appears a friend of this customer was in later that night and spoke to the attendant and Robyn explained the situation to her, and the friend said it was a mistake and they would get the clothes back to the customer right away. It has been about 36 hours and no word has been sent about the clothes being dropped off.

Apparently the womans name is Lisa and the mans name is Brett, if anyone can give us more information about how to contact them via a phone number or an address so we can reach out, we will keep your information private. We appreciate any help you can give us to help out this customer, he has been very patient so far and very understanding and we hope this is resolved today. He has work clothes he needs for tomorrow and he is willing to meet up with her so she doesn't have to pay for a cab to get his stuff back, he will drive to a location that they agree on. Thank you everyone and we really appreciate any help anyone can provide.

Hello everyone, we are already up to the 6th event of this year, which this also marks a special occasion for us here. This event marks 2 years of the free laundry access program! I can't believe we have helping out the community for 2 years now, as I always say I am very happy and proud to do my part to help out my community, and look forward to many more years of doing what we can for everyone!

Hello Hamilton, we are already up to the 5th event of this year. It looks like the cold weather is finally behind us, and we are ready for the nice warm weather right in front of us. After talking to most of you during the last event, I can safely say that is what everyone was looking forward to.
