Hello Hamilton, we are already up to the 5th event of this year. It looks like the cold weather is finally behind us, and we are ready for the nice warm weather right in front of us. After talking to most of you during the last event, I can safely say that is what everyone was looking forward to.

Our next event day is coming up this Thursday May 21st between 9am to 9pm. For those who are already signed up with the program, you just have to sign in when you arrive and away you go. If you haven’t signed up yet, you can do so at www.freelaundryaccess.com sometime before this event. If you are on ODSP or Ontario Works you just need to bring your ID and statement and we can sign you up at the laundromat if that is easier for you (If you are homeless, on ODSP or Ontario works you are automatically approved for the program and can do laundry immediately once we fill out the forms and see appropriate documents). As always let as many people as you can know about the program as we want to help as many individuals and families as we can, and remember at these events we cover all your costs for washing, drying, soap and fabric sheets.

Hi everyone, it's that time of year again! King Coin Laundromat has been nominated and has moved onto the voting round in 2 categories. Best Laundromat and Best Laundry Services. We took first place the last 2 years with everyone's support and we want to defend our title yet again and three-peat as the number 1 laundromat in Hamilton! *** THE NEXT EVENT IS THIS THURSDAY JANUARY 15 BETWEEN 9AM AND 9PM. WE WILL HOPEFULLY SEE EVERYONE THERE! ***

Good evening everyone! We have some good news in regards to the events for 2026. For the entire year every event will be taking place on the 3rd Thursday of the month, regardless if there are 4 or 5 Thursday's in that month which is great as it is consistent and much easier to remember. I have added the event poster which has the dates for this year, please let people who do not have access to the internet or this page know if you can, as the event will not be on the 22nd like we originally thought, but this Thursday instead. Please take a photo or screenshot the picture or add the dates to your personal calendar so you know the dates.

Hello everyone, winter is officially just around the corner but the weather didn't seem to get the memo as we have had some fairly cold days already since the last event, along with a decent amount of snow as well.
