What a beautiful day it is today! Get those windows open and change out that air in your dwelling ☀️

With everyone going out a lot less frequently, the air in our builds up and is sometimes more polluted than the air outside 🤢

How does this happen you ask? Have you purchased a new pair of shoes lately? Painted your nails? Painted a room? Purchased a new area rug or carpet? Brought home your dry cleaning? All of these items give off gases that build up in our homes and unless we open our doors and windows to change up the air we continuously breathe in these harmful gases (VOCs).

There is no back up planet Earth, this is it 🌎

The inconvenient ⏸️ that we're under is a burden to most, but a blessing to our planet. Our staying home has definitely helped Earth recover a little with less vehicles on the road, less companies manufacturing, less businesses open, etc.

When things start to loosen up a little, because we all know that they eventually will, how will you continue to do your part to help save our planet for future generations? 👦👧👶

But it's not too late to throw a load into the machine and then hang it outside to dry so that we can participate in National Hanging Out Day! 🎉

We use Norwex in my classroom every day. Since Monday we've started training the kids to wash their hands with soap and lather to either the ABC's or Happy Birthday.

Today, we will be using Glo-Germ and a black light flashlight to really hammer home how important proper hand washing is.
