The easiest way to deal with soap scum? Prevent it from sticking in the first place with a 30-second post-shower habit.

The Daily Prevention Routine🚿

Rinse the Walls: Before stepping out of the shower, use the showerhead (or a cup) to rinse down soap residue off the tiles and glass while everything is still warm.

The 20-Second Squeegee: Keep a small squeegee right inside the shower. Run it down glass doors and smooth tiles to pull off excess water. Eliminating water drops stops mineral buildup in its tracks.

How to Clean a Dirty Microwave Without Any Scrubbing

Leftover soup exploded? Sauce splattered across the roof? Trying to scrub baked-on food off microwave walls takes way too much elbow grease—and usually ends up damaging the interior.

Instead of scrubbing, let steam do 90% of the heavy lifting for you!

The 5-Minute Steam Hack🍋

Grab a Microwave-Safe Bowl: Fill it about halfway with water.

Add Citrus or Vinegar: Squeeze in half a lemon (and toss the peel right into the water) or add 2 tablespoons of white vinegar. The acid helps break down grease and neutralizes lingering food odors!

Nuke It for 3–5 Minutes: Microwave on HIGH until the water boils and the door gets completely steamed up.

The Secret Wait: Leave the door closed for 3 to 5 minutes after the timer goes off. This lets the trapped steam soften all the caked-on food.
