A service like the CSSU is a vital piece of the urban puzzle, but its success depends entirely on two-way etiquette. True community safety isn't just about monitoring; it’s about a deep, compassionate understanding of our local demographics. This sector requires more than just 'patience'—it requires an ethical standard that treats the neighbors on the trails and the neighbors in the camps with the same dignity. 👮 Meet the Community Safety Services Unit (CSSU).

The City of Fredericton’s CSSU is here to enhance safety and support the community 24/7. By providing public education on trail etiquette, monitoring for vandalism and graffiti, returning shopping carts, and working with local organizations to assist those experiencing homelessness. The CSSU is dedicated to making Fredericton a safer, more connected place for everyone.

This work is based on the recommendations from the Community Task Force Report.

A NECESSARY SHIFT
​To lead Fredericton Litter Lifters effectively, my own foundation must be solid. Currently, I am spent— mentality and physically. I’m stepping back from FLL for an un-set period of time to focus on housing and self sustainability. A man cannot build a legacy for others while his own home is insecure.

​I will be exploring the city’s history at a slower pace, journal in hand. If you see me, know I am immersing myself in Fredericton’s essence and writing poetry to share with you all. Patience is a skill; I’m rebuilding so my future work is built on rock. I will be reviewing my all activities and sharing my thoughts in creative ways and sharing the thoughts of a raw compassion with in a man with endless hope and the thoughts of ethereal love that is not his to keep as he wish but that of God all mighty to let me understand and feel!!!

So get ready, Fredericton litter lifters , untill i can give Fredericton rhe appreciation it deserves from me and i confidently show the people in all of its communities the power of Lawrence Mcleod"s heart and the power of its pure love that they deserve I am calling the group,
