Fisher River Car Wash & Laundromat 204-308-1607 The Fisher River Economic Development opened a coin-operated car wash and laundromat that will service Fisher River and surrounding communities.

The car wash consists of two interior wash bays and one exterior wash pad for larger vehicles and buses. Each wash station is equipped with a high pressure wand, foam brush and vacuum. All the equipment is coin operated. The laundromat consists of 10 coin operated washers and dryers and offers on-site washing/folding services at a cost.

In recognition of Heritage Day on Monday May 4, 2026 please be advised The Car Wash and Laundromat will be closed.

The outdoor bay is on and will be available for use on May 4. We will be re-open on Tuesday May 5 at the regular business hours.

We have received reports of children playing in the water at the Rapids, which is extremely dangerous due to the fast-moving floodwaters. Your vigilance is crucial to keeping our community safe.

NOTICE OF UPCOMING HIGHWAY CLOSURE - APRIL 19

Please be advised that Highway 224 will be Closed beginning at approximately 9:00am Sunday April 19 from Murdock Bridge to the Business Centre as we expect many deliveries of Super Sandbags. Please use the Chief Rundle Road detour.

Access for Local Residents for that area can enter at the road block at the Business Centre as the road will be completely closed by Murdock Bridge.

We ask again to please drive with caution as deliveries of our Super Sandbags are on-going on Chief Rundle Road.

Please slow down when meeting semi's and when crews are on the road.

We also ask for community members to please be respectful to crew members and to the super sandbags that will be left on the road overnight until tomorrow when crews are able to place them.

Preparing for what can be a significant flood event takes all of our members efforts to protect our community.
