Canada’s first outdoor gear repair and advanced manufacturing centre is coming to the Kootenays.

We've joined forces with College of the Rockies and will soon be launching the Rehub Circular Technology Centre at the Gold Creek Campus in Cranbrook, supported by $1 million from the Province of British Columbia through the Rural Economic Diversification and Infrastructure Program (REDIP).

The Centre will help grow B.C.’s outdoor gear sector through:

• Technical gear repair training
• Industrial sewing and prototyping
• Upcycling and circular manufacturing
• Applied research and small-scale production
• Workforce development for rural communities
