At first glance, we thought the shower door was frosted glass, but it was actually just a buildup of limescale from hard water.

We mixed equal parts cleaning vinegar and water, then added a few drops of dish soap. After spraying it on and letting it sit for about 10 minutes, the limescale scrubbed off effortlessly with a non-scratch sponge.

Always so rewarding to see it transform back to crystal clear!

We removed years of heavy buildup from this oven using a bit of Easy-Off, some microfiber cloths, a razor blade, and plenty of elbow grease.

Fun fact: If you have a self-cleaning oven, avoid the Easy-Off Heavy Duty version (yellow cap/can). It can damage the interior lining. Opt for the Fume Free version (blue cap/can) instead, which is specifically safe for self-cleaning ovens.

We're excited to announce that Magic Swan Cleaning is one big step closer to being 100% eco-friendly!

We've switched to using almost exclusively Attitude products when cleaning your home.

Attitude is a Canadian company that makes super-clean, plant and mineral-based cleaners. They're EWG Verified, and we absolutely love them.

In addition to Attitude, we also use cleaning vinegar and a non-toxic classic called Bon Ami (think of it as the gentle, non-toxic version of Comet or Ajax).

The only product we're still using that isn't fully "green" is a fume-free oven cleaner (the one with the blue cap) for tough oven interiors. We honestly haven't found a great eco alternative yet that actually works. So we're sitting at about 99.5% eco-friendly and proud of it!

Wondering where those random smells are coming from?

It's probably old food hiding under who knows what!

A homeowner in Etobicoke was switching tenants in their suite and needed a quick move-out clean of their space before the new tenants arrived. We had a 6 hour window, so with 3 cleaners we cleaned almost every surface. Including the walls. The new tenants were moving a mattress in just as we were finishing mopping. Shoutout to the homeowner for providing the new tenants with a sparkling space!
