We are currently seeking donations of gently used or new storage bins and totes to help clients sort and store items safely and protect their important items from potential damage.

If you have any extra that you no longer need, please reach out to us via our website www.neighbourhoodhoardingsolutions.ca and we can arrange to pick them up.

We ask that they are clean and structurally sound, preferably with lids. It's one cost that we are hoping to be able to save or cut down entirely, which we can then pass along to people that really need it.

Your donation will help people facing various struggles in their lives and make a meaningful impact towards improving the quality of life for many individuals such as seniors and people with disabilities, within our community.

Thank you to everyone that has been supporting our efforts, sharing our content, and spreading awareness about hoarding and clutter in a safe and respectful manner.

We are grateful for the opportunity to be of service.

It's been a while since we posted a FAQ! We have been very busy helping people recently, and we thank you for all of your support.

Today's question, "do I have to have hoarding disorder in order for you to help me?"

Our answer is that we will help anyone that reaches out.

It's our passion to help those most in need. We provide essential services for those that are experiencing hardship, extreme clutter, and potentially facing eviction but we also have ways of serving people that may not be experiencing current crisis or trauma.

We enjoy working with people from all walks of life. Sometimes that means we spend our time with people really needing the support and sometimes we are hired by prominent members of the public that are looking for a "more refined" experience to make their homes more presentable.

Our services are available to anyone but our greatest strength is the diversity of what we are able to offer.

For executive services, we roll out the red carpet. We tailor a strategy that fits your lifestyle perfectly. Our attention to detail, our dignified approach, our respect for reputation, and our understanding of each situation is key to how we are able to fit into your life and give you the positive experience that you and your family deserve.

So, whether you are looking for essential services in your time of need or looking to spoil yourself with a conscious clearing of space strategy, we are at your disposal and ready when you are.

Let us show you why we are the fastest growing company in town and what makes us different from everyone else. You won't be disappointed. πŸͺΆ

Every day we meet people experiencing potential eviction or facing the uncertainty of potentially facing the challenges of becoming displaced.

It's traumatic, it's heartbreaking, and we do everything we can to improve situations for our clients.

We couldn't do it without the support of others and we applaud great organizations such as the Strathcona Shelter Society Ltd. "A Safe Place" who are there to help when people truly need it.

A tight-knit community can make a difference and together we can all work to support people facing some of the toughest challenges of their lives.

There is hope, and groups like this help in ways that many people are unaware of.

We encourage people to get involved in their communities and neighbourhoods to take care of one another. Thank you to those that volunteer and are of service to people that may be suffering.

Many people think shelters only provide emergency accommodation, but support can extend beyond a place to stay.

Outreach services help individuals and families access information, explore options, and build safer futures.

If you or someone you know needs help, call or text our crisis and shelter intake line 24/7 at (780) 464-7233. You can also call toll-free at 1 (888) 252-7233.

Sage Seniors Association is a very important resource for many individuals within the community.

If you are seeking advice or looking for support, we highly recommend reaching out to them.

We cannot thank them enough for being one of our most trusted referral partners and friends.

Check out their website and social media and please help spread awareness. It will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those that need it.

Do you work, volunteer, or live alongside older adults?

You can help connect seniors with the information and resources they need to live well.

Sage's Directory of Senior Services is a free, trusted resource that helps seniors, caregivers, families, and professionals navigate the often complex and changing landscape of services and supports. Inside are hundreds of detailed listings for housing, health services, government programs, transportation, recreation, financial assistance, caregiving resources, and much more.

Whether you work in healthcare, a community organization, or supportive housing, volunteer with older adults, care for an aging family member, or live in a building or neighbourhood with seniors, having Sage Directories readily available means trusted information is always close at hand.

Boxes of Directories are available free of charge and can be picked up at Sage Seniors Association (15 Sir Winston Churchill Square), Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

You never know when someone will need informationβ€”or how much a simple connection to the right resource can make a difference.

Together, we can help ensure every senior has access to the supports they need, when they need them.

Special thank you to Glenda Sheard - Speaker-Coach for her meaningful shoutout on her show on Sound Sugar Radio last week. It was a fantastic episode and we truly appreciated her kind words, it warmed our hearts to hear her share her experience.

Yes, the word "Hoarding" is in our name, but we help ALL levels of clutter. We are dedicated to spreading awareness about how clutter affects people living within our communities and neighbourhooods and we will help anyone that needs the extra hands to manage their spaces.

Often, we are focused on helping the most extreme cases but that's because we feel we can make the biggest impact in the lives of those that need it.

We have local private clients that are simply seniors, or other people, that don't have the ability to do it themselves for various reasons.

We don't judge and any job is equally as important to us. We just want to help people maintain their dignity, we respect each and every person that reaches out to us.

Big or small, we help them all. We are ready when you are. We can get to the bottom of it together. πŸ’ͺ

This is what a hot day looks like for us. We took some extra breaks and drank lots of water.

We were able to use our conscious clearing method to declutter two basement rooms that, unfortunately, were damaged by severe flooding.

We cleared a path so the client is able to have the foundation inspected and access the services safely.

Special thanks to Direct Dumpsters for being so accommodating. Because of their help, our senior client was able to save some money and will be able to continue to manage the emotional process of sorting through the estate they inherited from a passed-on loved one. πŸ™

Also, thank you to the The Hoarding Disorder Foundation of Alberta for their referral and trust. We are honored to be a part of their network and cannot thank them enough for the work they do to help others.

We love this community. 🀎

Visit our website and follow our socials for more information. Thank you to everyone in that takes the time to share our content and please consider using our services should you; or a loved one, require it.

We are ready when you are and we are here to help. πŸ’ͺ
