It seems obvious “A family lives here”

But its not as obvious as you might think. What works for one family can be totally dysfunctional for another.

Some homes just are not designed for family life. With primary suites 1 or 2 floors away from the rest of the bedrooms, an oversized kitchen with no place for a table, small living spaces that only fit a love seat and chair, teeny yards that don’t have space to run around and one small closet on each floor.

These little things start to feel bigger if they are not planned for life as a family. We take inspiration from our own family lives and incorporate those into the discussions with clients when designing their house.

Sometimes our clients request a room we NEVER do.

This is what makes it so exciting building custom homes for families. Every family is different and has different needs.

Being able to accommodate those needs into the home itself makes life soo much better and easier when they finally move in.

Imagine no more moving your kids art project around 10 times before its finished but yet the main living space of your home stays clean and functional.
