It was time to give my good ole boots a much needed clean, condition, and water-proofing!
Almost forgot to clean the other boot before leaving for town... 😂🤦‍♀️

Decided to take on the toughest one first! With all the little brass studs turned green from oxidation, I spent more time cleaning up this bridle than I do on the average saddle, but it was totally worth it! Might not be ready for the show ring, but at least it is now in decent usable shape.
Lots of older leather tack comes in very dried out and stiff, but this one was on the other end of the spectrum being quite saturated and very sticky, which can also compromise the integrity of the leather. But depending on the type of products, I can much improve the oil balance of the leather whether it is too dry, or too saturated.

Finished up a deep clean on a saddle today. A beautiful older ranch saddle, which I can tell by the supple leather that it has been maintained well over the years! Love me some good before and afters!

Finished up another saddle today. Love me some good before and afters.
This saddle is quite old but has been beautifully maintained, which makes my job a lot easier!
