This 2018 Lexus LC500 is finally in the hands of an owner who has wanted one since the day they were released.

To get it ready for years of enjoyment, we performed paint correction, completed a few paint touch-ups, and wrapped the entire vehicle in XPEL Paint Protection Film for maximum protection. Since the LC500 is an older pattern, we also spent extra time refining and customizing the PPF templates to ensure the best possible fit and finish.

This one was especially meaningful for us. The owner was one of the very first customers to trust us with a prized vehicle back in 2015, when HoD was still operating from my driveway. At the time, we worked on his left-hand-drive MK4 Supra.

We’re incredibly thankful for the long-term relationships and continued support from customers like this. It means more than you know.

This Land Rover Defender may be new to its owner, but he’s certainly no stranger to Hooked on Detailing.

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of working on more than a dozen vehicles for him. A longtime supporter, good friend, and true automotive enthusiast, his garage has seen everything from Corvettes, Mustangs, Camaros, Challengers to trucks and more.

A Facebook memory from 9 years ago popped up today—a C7 Corvette we had just finished restoring and coating in our small 2-bay shop.

Fast forward to today, and the shop is full of Corvettes, classics, exotics, and daily drivers receiving paint correction, ceramic coatings, and PPF.

A lot has changed over the years, but one thing hasn’t: our commitment to the craft and to every customer who trusts us with their vehicle. The shop is bigger, the team is bigger, and our experience has grown, but the passion and attention to detail remain the same.

One of the best midsize family SUVs on the road, now protected and ready for years of adventures ahead.

These two 2026 Toyota Grand Highlanders happened to be in the shop at the same time, and by coincidence both owners chose the exact same protection package.

Each received XPEL Paint Protection Film on the Full Front End and other high-impact areas, followed by our XPEL Ceramic Coating package for long-term protection against the elements.

It’s always interesting to see different owners arrive at the same conclusion when it comes to protecting their investment. 👌

Getting to work on restoration projects like this is one of the things that makes our job so rewarding. This 1949 Mercury restomod is an absolute beauty — a perfect blend of classic styling and modern upgrades. From the suspension setup and front-end conversion to the custom interior, the attention to detail throughout this build is incredible.

Our team performed a full multi-stage paint correction to bring out maximum clarity and depth in the finish, including polishing the painted interior trim and engine bay components. We then added custom XPEL PPF to protect the high-impact areas and topped the entire vehicle with XPEL Fusion ceramic coating for long-lasting gloss, protection, and easier upkeep.
