A morning stroll through the front yard before day 2 of our local.music festival.
Vancouver Island MusicFest 🤘✌️🕺💃🙏
I love watching the ducks aerate the soil while hunting for protein. I don't get many slugs here anymore, they find wood bugs, snails spiders, ants and more.

If you have used my service, how is your slug issue this year compared to your neighbors?
I ask because I wonder if the vibration of the ducks bills can be felt and remembered by the slugs from last season.

Edit on 2nd clip. I put garden and kitchen waste in the Tripple O Chest and add horse manure as it has the red wriggler worms in it which break down the compost for everything else to use and take into the garden.
If you are thinking of doing this. I get horse manure from a horse that is not on a lot of meds, a few shovels loads of all I use keep damp in summer with wet burlap on top then wait.
I leave it a month before opening. Sometimes I just add, other times I turn it a little so I can see many different forms of life🌄
