This 2019 GMC Sierra came into the shop for the full WoolWax undercoating treatment to get it protected against another harsh Ontario winter!

We started by addressing any loose dirt and debris underneath to give WoolWax the best possible surface to bond to.

From there, we went to work protecting the entire undercarriage. Frame rails inside and out, crossmembers, cab mounts, floorboards, suspension components, A-arms, rocker panels, and all those hard-to-reach areas where moisture, salt, and road grime love to collect.

But we don't stop underneath! The doors, hood, tailgate, and inner body cavities were also treated to help protect against corrosion from the inside out.

We take the time to get into the areas that are often overlooked because a proper undercoating is about more than just spraying the bottom of a truck.

WoolWax provides a thick, lanolin-based protective barrier that stays flexible, repels moisture, and helps keep road salt away from the metal.

4th Gen GMC Sierra 1500 came in for the full WoolWax experience!

We started by blasting away all the loose dirt and debris that had built up along the floorboards, tops of the frame rails, rocker panels, and cab mounts. These are areas that tend to collect dirt, moisture, and road salt, making them some of the first places corrosion starts.

Once everything was cleaned up, it was time to get this truck protected from the inside out.

The entire undercarriage received a thorough application of WoolWax, including the frame rails inside and out, crossmembers, floorboards, cab mounts, suspension components, A-arms, brackets, and all those hard-to-reach areas where rust likes to develop.

We didn't stop underneath either. The rocker panels were treated internally and externally, along with the doors, hood, tailgate, box sides, wheel wells, and other vulnerable cavities throughout the truck.

The goal is to get protection into the areas you can't normally see, not just coat what's easily accessible from underneath.

WoolWax is a lanolin-based rust preventative that stays soft, creeps into seams and crevices, and helps keep moisture and road salt away from the metal.

There's a lot more to a proper undercoating than simply spraying the bottom of a vehicle. We take the time to do the preparation and make sure our customers are getting their money's worth.

This 2023 Toyota 4Runner rolled into the shop for the full WoolWax treatment, and it's leaving ready to take on another Canadian winter!

Being a body-on-frame SUV, there's plenty of real estate underneath that needs protecting! We gave the entire undercarriage a thorough treatment, coating the frame inside and out, crossmembers, suspension components, control arms, floor pans, rocker panels, and all those hard-to-reach areas where moisture, road salt, and grime love to hide.

But we didn't stop underneath!

We also treated the inside of the doors, hood, and those problem areas around the rear hatch that are notorious for trapping moisture and developing rust. Even the steering shaft, a well-known trouble spot on these 4Runners, received some extra attention!

Busy day at the shop today with two more vehicles getting the full WoolWax treatment!

First up was a Chevy Cruze in for some serious rust protection! Just because it's a smaller car doesn't mean it deserves any less attention. The entire undercarriage received a thorough coating, including the subframes, suspension components, crossmembers, floor pans, rocker panels and all those hard-to-reach areas where moisture, salt and road grime love to collect. We don't just spray what you can see from underneath. We make sure those hidden areas and cavities get the protection they need too. Ontario winters are hard on vehicles, and getting ahead of corrosion is one of the best ways to keep them on the road longer!

Next up was a 2011 GMC Sierra that's no stranger to undercoating! This truck has been protected throughout its life, but over the years, layers of old oil coatings, dirt and road grime had built up underneath.

Rather than simply adding another layer over everything, the customer opted for a complete undercarriage pressure wash to strip away years of accumulated buildup and give us a fresh, clean starting point.

Once everything was cleaned up and properly prepared, it was time to lay down a fresh coat of WoolWax! The frame received attention inside and out, along with the crossmembers, suspension components, floorboards and all the areas that typically take a beating from our Canadian winters.

There's a big difference between simply spraying a vehicle and taking the time to properly protect it.

This 2023 Toyota Tacoma came in for a full WoolWax® undercoating to get protected before another harsh Canadian winter!

Tacomas are known for their reliability and longevity, but like any truck exposed to Ontario winters, rust can quickly become an expensive problem if left unchecked.

A pretty cool piece of GM history rolled into the shop for some WoolWax protection!

This 2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer SS isn't your average SUV. Packing a 6.0L LS2 V8 derived from the Corvette, paired with an all-wheel-drive system, the TBSS was one of GM's most unique performance SUVs. With only a short production run from 2006 to 2009, these have become a rare sight on the roads, especially here in Ontario.

We started by removing any loose, flaking rust to clean up the undercarriage and prepare the surface for WoolWax. From there, the underside received a thorough coating, including the frame inside and out, crossmembers, suspension components and other rust-prone areas.

We didn't stop underneath either. The doors, rear hatch, rocker panels and rear quarter panels all received protection inside their hidden cavities, where moisture and road salt can cause damage over time.

It's not every day you get to work on a piece of GM performance history like this. With 395 horsepower from the factory and the practicality of an SUV, these were pretty special machines for their time.

Another one protected and ready for many more years on the road!
