Important information all should know about all cleaning business:
Every time we post that we're hiring cleaners or advertising our rates, someone comments, "That's too expensive."
What many people don't see is what happens behind the scenes.
Not every home or rental is "pre-cleaned." Some jobs involve hours of scrubbing built-up grease, bathrooms that haven't been cleaned in weeks, pet hair everywhere, heavy lifting, making beds, laundry, restocking supplies, and paying close attention to every detail so the client walks into a spotless space.
Running a cleaning business also means paying employees fairly, supplies, equipment, fuel, vehicle expenses, taxes, and all the other costs that come with providing a professional, reliable service.
When you hire a professional cleaner, you're not just paying for someone to wipe counters. You're paying for experience, reliability, physical labour, attention to detail, and the peace of mind that the job will be done right.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I understand professional cleaning isn't in everyone's budget. But before saying it's "too expensive," please remember there's often much more involved than what you see on the surface.
To all the hardworking cleaners out there: your work matters, it's physically demanding, and it deserves respect.
