For the week of March 6, there were no new cases of rabies detected.

We are currently at 457 cases of raccoon strain, and 21 cases of fox strain rabies in Ontario since December 2015.

For the week of October 10th there was 1 new case of raccoon strain rabies detected in a skunk in Hamilton.



We are currently at 436 cases of raccoon strain, and 20 cases of fox strain rabies in Ontario since December 2015.

For the week of September 26th there were 3 new cases of raccoon strain rabies detected in two raccoons in Hamilton and one skunk in Welland.

We are reporting 1 new case of raccoon strain rabies from last week, occurring in a raccoon from Niagara Region.



We are currently at 327 cases of raccoon strain, and 9 cases of fox strain rabies in Ontario to date.
