My cleaning experience dates back to my first job as an Environmental Service 1 (they use fancy titles for housekeeper LOL) at the foothills hospital. This is where I gathered a great deal of knowledge on proper chemical use, and what should be used and where. I also learned proper sanitation, how to avoid cross-contamination, and the importance of keeping bacteria and germs at bay. As I got older
, I went on to other things. One, in particular, was Tile. I started in the trade as anyone would, learning the basics (being the grunt)
The first thing I was able to master was working with Epoxy grout. Oh, what a job that was. I worked alongside a guy who knew everything about grout, his job was always epoxy. I spent many nights at Market Mall, while the food court was being renovated and applying epoxy to the floors! (yup I did that 😁) Why epoxy? Because its water and stain resistant, and often used in swimming pools or commercial kitchens. As I mastered new and different things in tile, I was able to move up...Until I finally opened my own tile company" Monarch stone and tile"
Now, this knowledge brings me back to cleaning! I know what's safe to clean Tile floors, slate, marble and stone with.
