Coming out of what has felt like hibernation & looking forward to a streamlined, productive season ahead.

After what has been an extremely challenging winter with so many factors impacting the schedule including weather conditions, staffing issues & time off for medical reasons, I am more than ready to welcome Spring!

Although we're not in the clear from snow just yet, I know that warmer, brighter days are just around the corner

I am still blown away at how much this has taken off in just a couple of weeks & have come again to thank everyone who has shared/donated & wished me well!

I have been finding my new routines at home & navigating this big life change! This whole experience has been incredibly eye-opening and has made me appreciate life so much more, realizing what is truly important - your health & your family/friends/support people! 💞 We only get one body in this lifetime.

I had a follow-up appointment this morning and was so relieved to hear that nothing has gotten worse & that there are signs of healing, the best news! It will be a long road ahead to see how much I can heal on my own and what my options for surgery will be thereafter

More good news is I was approved to recieve my second infusion at Bridgewater Hospital next week on Monday! For the future infusions I must wait to see what my options for coverage will be (this is primarily where we are in need of some help).

With both myself & Chad being self-employed small-business operators - both being healthy people up until now, health insurance is regretfully not something we had considered & to explore our options now Im afraid would be totally astronomical with my condition. I have applied for Pharmacare and will continue to explore other options available (anyone with any insight on this please feel free to reach out).

The winter months are particularly challenging as both of our businesses tend to thrive in the "on" season of April through to October. While we work as much as we can in the "off" season & my workload remains more steady than his, the weather often poses challenges for safety/transportation but we do our best!

Now it will be even more challenging with the uncertainty of when I am able to return to work. I am hoping to ease back into things as I start to heal but also need to be patient with myself & not over-exert, as cleaning can be physically demanding.

So I am sharing the GoFundMe again because, while we are certainly making headway, it would be a dream come true to reach the goal by the end of 2025!!

I know this time of year can be challenging for many & with today's economy in general, I completely understand there can be little to spare. Even the smallest amounts can add up quickly & sharing the fundraiser is the next best thing 💖🙏

Good morning!

I wanted to take a minute to send a HUGE thank you to everyone who has shared, reached out and/or donated to my Go Fund Me - the response has been overwhelming and I could not be more grateful, it means the world!🥲

Also want to give a little update

After 6 days in hospital I am home with my family and that in itself has been some great medicine 💕

I responded well to my first infusion & will go back in just under two weeks for the second.

Follow up appointments are arranged over the next couple of months & I will wait to have the main surgery I need to fix the damage caused to my bladder. The other surgeries will hopefully follow in the new year to begin repairing my gum tissues as the GPA has caused severe recession - these will not be anywhere near as limiting as what I currently experiencing living with a catheter. It has been a huge adjustment but Im getting the hang of things!

To anyone who feels this may be over-sharing, I would rather just be open and transparent - and if Im being completely honest, after these past two months and the last week seeing the most doctors Ive ever dealt with in my life, nothing is sacred 🤪

It feels SO good to be in the comfort of my own home again and I am resting, taking things day by day.

Again, to say "thank you" is simply not enough!

My journey continues & brighter days are ahead ☀️

It was been a very busy, steady spring & summer work season which is why posting has been few and far between but I am here today with a really important announcement and request

Asking for help is never easy but it's time for me to share the ordeal that I have quietly been dealing with for the past two months. It has been a huge challenge for me & my family to learn what the future holds for us and while I am so grateful to be getting the care I need to recover, the road ahead does not come without hurdles I never could've imagined.

Im happy to share more about my journey to anyone who may be interested in learning/listening. I've been really lucky to have a great team of doctors in Bridgewater & Halifax who have been helping me every step of the way

Cleaning experience is an asset however, training will be provided

- Residential

- Move related

Hours of operation:
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
Closed on holidays

25 - 30/hr per week (average)
Occasional weekend work

Employees are provided with the supplies & equipment for cleanings
