We are starting to produce 3-layer masks (NOT a substitute for the N95 mask) this evening. They will come in a variety of colours/fabric designs. They are FREE for those who work in a front line position (medical, food or transport industry, etc). Those who are not working in those fields but request them anyway, are asked to make a small donation of any amount to help cover the cost of materials.

TOOL DRIVE!!!!!

Carla’s Cleaning has partnered with Bear Creek Secondary School for a tool drive! In support of their mechanics/shop department, we are collecting any and all supplies that will assist students in their projects. Just drop us a message and we will arrange to pick up your donations. We will take anything from basic hand tools to working electric tools, including saws. They are in desperate need of sandpaper as well.

WARNING!!!!!!!
One thing that was left out when these battery recycling bags were issued was a warning regarding top post or “9v” batteries. Prior to disposal, securely wrap the contacts with electrical tape. House fires have been known to start when two of these batteries come in contact with each other.

Don’t take the chance. Safe disposal first!!!!!
